Legacy Saddles Returns and Damaged Items Policy
We want you to love your new saddle or tack—but if something’s not quite right, we're here to help. Please read the following return instructions carefully to ensure a smooth process.
Return Eligibility
To begin a return or exchange, email returns@legacysaddles.com to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the correct return shipping address.
⚠️ Do NOT send returns to our main business address—unauthorized returns may be delayed or lost, and additional shipping charges may apply.
Return Window
We accept returns and exchanges within 30 calendar days of delivery for all products.
Saddle & Tack Condition Guidelines
Returned items must be unused, in new condition, and free of any signs of wear, including:
- Scratches, scuffs, wrinkles, or marks on leather
- Dirt, horsehair, sweat, or odor
- Wear on billets, fenders, stirrup leathers, or cinch straps
- Missing tags, accessories, or original packaging
If an item is returned in less-than-new condition, we may deny the return.
How to Check Saddle Fit Without Voiding Return Eligibility
To gently check saddle fit on your horse by:
- Place a clean towel or blanket between the saddle and your horse
- Gently place the saddle to assess its fit—do not cinch or ride yet
- If needed, sit in the saddle carefully to check your fit—but avoid scratching the leather or causing wear, and remove shoes if they could mark the saddle
- Only ride once you’re sure you’re keeping the saddle—it takes very little use to affect return eligibility
⚠️ Do not ride in the saddle unless you plan to keep it.
Any visible use will prevent the product from being returned.
Return Shipping & Refunds

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
- In certain cases we may be able to provide discounted return shipping; the cost will be deducted from your refund.

Refunds are typically processed within 10 business days after we receive and approve the return.
Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled any time before the item ships.

Once shipped, the order must follow the standard return process.
Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, please follow these steps within 24 hours of delivery:

Take clear photos of the damaged item and the shipping box/packaging
- Email the photos to returns@legacysaddles.com
- Include your order number and a brief description of the damage
- We will guide you through the replacement process
Damaged items will be replaced with the same model, size, and color. Manufacturer policies may apply.
